Disaster recovery ready
Our database platform passes stringent internal and external auditing and backup data compliance so data is easily recoverable in the rare case of loss. The Roubler team works to monitor technical performance around the clock, ensuring uptime is maintained and your data stays where it needs to be. Should a rare incident occur, we work to identify and prioritise security risks.
Infrastructure to keep your information safe and protected
Our database servers are within the private subset on AWS, which has hidden data centres across the globe. These are strictly monitored and only allow access on an essential basis, ensuring your data is always protected. For performance assurance, we always run a minimum of four separate servers – this means if one happens to fail, the other servers will make sure no downtime occurs.
Unbreakable security wall
We maintain safety measures against cyber attacks with a web application layer that doesn’t accept connections outside of Roubler’s infrastructure. Access is strictly limited as our database layer runs on a separate server with AWS Aurora service allowing connections only through a specific port, web application and Bastion server.
Data encryption
To protect and secure your data, we encrypt all data to a trusted data centre while at rest and in transit. Sensitive data such as passwords undergo 256-bit encryption with a 1,024-bit salt.
Quality assurance checks
To ensure the highest standards of practice, we obtain and pass annual penetration tests and audits. These tests are conducted by trusted third-party providers who adhere to the best standards of practice.

Single sign on with OAuth
We use OAuth to manage user security, including single sign-on. OAuth is the industry standard for user authentication and authorization technology and is the most robust security platform of its type available. OAuth enables us to provide our customers with two-factor authentication.
